JOB SUMMARY: Maintains an adequate supply of clean dishes for both patients and non-patient food service on a timely basis and mops, sweeps floor and empties trash in accordance with approved sanitation and safety guidelines/procedures.

Operates dish machine according to policy and procedures. |

Washes pots and pans according to policy and procedures. |
||
Notifies supervisor when recording data such as sanitizing levels, dish machine temperatures, food temperatures are out of range. |
||
Delivers trays to patients accurately and in a timely manner. |
||
Lines trays as appropriate to the position. |
||
Cleans assigned equipment and areas according to cleaning schedules posted. |
||
Maintains a high standard of cleanliness. |
||
Washes hands appropriately throughout shift. |
||
Wears gloves and changes gloves according to policy. |
||
Performs other duties as assigned or required. |
||
Gives regard to proper garbage disposal. |
||
Disposes of trash and boxes properly. |
||
Assists with putting stock away, using the first in first out method. |
||
Sweeps and mops floors and uses wet floor signs. |
||
Uses cleaning chemicals according to manufacturer’s guidelines. |
||
Uses required Personal Protective Equipment per policy and procedure. |
